Terms of Service

Georgia Pet Pal offers in-home and in-park pet care, including care visits, dog walks, dog training packages and refreshers, transformation sessions, and related services. Service availability, pricing, and features may change over time.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity that happens under your account. You agree to provide accurate information about yourself, your pet, and your home (including address, access notes, and any medical or behavioral information relevant to your pet's care) and to keep that information up to date.

Bookings can be made on the website or in the iOS app. Pricing shown at checkout governs the booking. We use Square as our payment processor; by submitting payment information you also agree to Square's terms of service. We may store a tokenized reference to your card on file in order to charge recurring services or post-visit balances that you have authorized.

Visits cancelled or rescheduled more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are not charged a fee. Visits cancelled inside the 24-hour window, or that result in a no-show at the scheduled time, may be charged at 50% of the service fee to compensate staff for the held slot. Specific cancellation rules for training packages, recurring schedules, and last-minute requests are described inside the relevant booking flow at checkout.

If you sign up for a recurring schedule (such as weekly walks), you authorize us to charge your card on file at the start of each cycle for that cycle's services, plus any tips or add-ons you have selected. You can pause, modify, or cancel a recurring schedule from inside your account.

• Your pet must be up to date on rabies vaccination and other vaccinations appropriate to local law and standard veterinary practice.
• You must disclose any aggression, bite history, medical conditions, medications, or special handling needs before service begins.
• You must provide reliable access to your home (key, lockbox code, gate access, etc.) and remove or secure any hazards.
• You must maintain current contact information so we can reach you in an emergency.

Before service begins, you will be asked to review and sign our standard agreements (which may include a COVID disclosure and a liability waiver). Those signed agreements govern the allocation of risk and supplement these Terms. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Georgia Pet Pal's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the fees you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

You agree not to use the Service to harass our staff or other users, post or share content that is harmful or illegal, interfere with the operation of the Service, attempt to access other users' accounts, or violate any applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

By default, photos and videos staff capture during visits are used only inside your client portal. If you have explicitly opted in (Profile → "Share my pet's cute moments"), we may also use those photos and videos on social media and in our marketing. You can revoke that consent at any time on the Profile page.

You may delete your account from inside the app at any time (Profile → Delete my account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a risk to staff, other users, or the public.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee any specific training outcome, behavioral change, or veterinary result.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cobb County, Georgia.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect on the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after the change constitutes acceptance.
